Perinatal Midwifery Care
"It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back."

The term perinatal means around birth. The childbearing year is important and does not begin or end with a baby.
The midwifery model of care is about building trust and relationships. It goes far beyond birth attendance and may be applied in various settings and under many situations. Home birth is a great option for individuals interested in birthing outside the hospital system. But it may not be right for everyone. If you are interested in midwifery care and plan on birthing in a hospital, we also offer prenatal and postpartum care packages. Out of hospital midwifery care can be used for the those planning a hospital birth, but desiring more personalized prenatal and/or postpartum care. |

At Coyote Midwifery appointments last approximately one hour and involve much more than simple assessment of physical well-being; we care about you as a whole person. We don't treat birthing people, we teach them. We establish relationships and provide information so that they may empower themselves to be the experts in their own care.
Our Perinatal Care Packages include:
Everything-But-The BirthPrenatal and Postpartum Care for those planning on giving birth in the hospital, who desire more intimate care before and after.
|
HomebirthGlobal homebirth midwifery care for those opting for an out-of-hospital birth.
|
Postpartum Home CarePostpartum care for those choosing the hospital for prenatal care and birth, but who want comprehensive home-based postpartum care.
