Lacation

Compassionate, evidence-based care for every feeding journey

Feeding your baby is a deeply personal experience—one that can bring joy, connection, and sometimes challenges. As International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and Licensed Direct Entry Midwives (LDMs), we provide skilled, inclusive lactation care that meets you where you are, whether you’re breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or formula feeding.

Why work with an IBCLC?

IBCLCs are the gold standard in lactation support—healthcare professionals with advanced training in human lactation and infant feeding. We are here to address concerns, answer questions, and help you feel confident in your feeding choices.

Our Services Include:

  • Prenatal Lactation Consultations
Prepare for your feeding journey before baby arrives. We’ll discuss positioning, latch, supply, common challenges, and how your birth experience may impact feeding.

  • Postpartum & Newborn Feeding Support
In-home, birth center, or virtual visits to assess latch, positioning, and milk transfer; address nipple pain, engorgement, and supply concerns; and support you through growth spurts, cluster feeding, and beyond.

  • Pump & Bottle-Feeding Guidance
Learn how to select and use a breast pump, establish a pumping routine, store milk safely, and introduce bottles in a way that supports your feeding goals.

  • Specialized Support for Complex Cases
Including tongue tie assessment, low milk supply, oversupply, mastitis, relactation, and feeding after NICU stays or surgical births.

  • Chestfeeding & LGBTQ+ Family Support
Inclusive, affirming care for all families, with experience supporting induced lactation, non-gestational parents, and diverse feeding journeys.
